GBJ bridge rectifier needs special attention in installation and work, because the correct installation and correct use of GBJ bridge rectifier determine the service life of GBJ bridge rectifier.


The distance between the lower edge of the GBJ bridge rectifier and the surface of the commutator or collector ring should be kept within 2-4 mm. If the distance is too small, GBJ will easily scratch the commutator or bridge; if it is too large. The GBJ bridge rectifier is easy to move and cause damage. Ensure that the GBJ bridge rectifier works within the surface of the commutator or GBJ, and not close to the edge of the GBJ. If the GBJ bridge rectifier is improperly installed in the cold state, the GBJ bridge rectifier may not completely touch the surface of the collector ring after the GBJ shaft expands in the hot state. Grind the arc surface of the GBJ bridge rectifier to make it basically consistent with the GBJ sub or bridge rectifier.


Due to the gap between the GBJ and the bridge rectifier, and due to the slight deformation of the fixed parts of the GBJ bridge rectifier under the action of stress, the radius of curvature of the GBJ bridge rectifier section will be slightly larger than that of the commutator or the GBJ bridge rectifier. During the operation of the bridge rectifier, not all the cross-sectional area of the GBJ bridge rectifier is in contact with the commutator or the collector ring, but only a part of the area. Therefore, the arc surface of the GBJ bridge rectifier must be ground to make it basically consistent with the commutator or GBJ bridge rectifier ring.

Bridge rectifier is also called rectifier bridge stack, is the most commonly used circuit that uses the unidirectional conductivity of diodes for rectification, and is often used to convert alternating current into direct current.


Most rectifier circuits are composed of transformers, rectifier main circuits and filters. It is widely used in the fields of DC motor speed regulation, generator excitation regulation, electrolysis, electroplating and other fields.


The main circuit is mostly composed of silicon diode rectifiers and thyristors. The filter is connected between the main circuit and the load to filter out AC components in the pulsating DC voltage. The setting of the transformer depends on the specific situation. The function of the transformer is to achieve the matching between the AC input voltage and the DC output voltage and the electrical isolation between the AC power grid and the rectifier circuit.


The function of the rectifier circuit is to convert the low-voltage alternating current output by the AC step-down circuit into a unidirectional pulsating direct current. This is the rectification process of the alternating current. The rectifier circuit is mainly composed of rectifier diodes.


The voltage after the rectifier circuit is no longer AC voltage, but a mixed voltage containing DC voltage and AC voltage. It is customarily called unidirectional pulsating DC voltage.


In the half-wave rectifier circuit, when the rectifier diode is cut off, the peak value of the AC voltage is all added to both ends of the diode. The same is true for the full-wave rectifier circuit. When one diode is turned on, the other diode is turned off and bears the full AC peak voltage. Therefore, for these two rectifier circuits, the rectifier diode of the circuit is required to have a higher ability to withstand reverse peak voltage.

What is a single phase bridge rectifier circuit?


The single-phase bridge rectifier circuit is a bridge rectifier, also called a bridge rectifier stack, which is the most commonly used circuit for rectification using the unidirectional conductivity of a diode, and is commonly used to convert alternating current into direct current.


Half-wave rectification uses the unidirectional characteristic of diodes. When the input is a standard sine wave, the output obtains the positive half of the sine wave, and the negative half is lost.


The bridge rectifier uses four diodes to be connected in pairs. When the positive half of the input sine wave is turned on by two tubes, the positive output is obtained; when the negative half of the sine wave is input, the other two tubes are turned on. Because the two tubes are reversely connected, the output still gets the positive half of the sine wave.


The utilization efficiency of the input sine wave by the bridge rectifier is twice as high as that of the half-wave rectifier. Bridge rectification is the first step in the conversion of alternating current to direct current.


The bridge rectifier is made up of multiple diode rectifiers for bridge connection and externally packaged with insulating plastic. The high-power bridge rectifier is enclosed by a metal shell outside the insulating layer to enhance heat dissipation. Bridge rectifiers have many varieties, excellent performance, high rectification efficiency, and good stability. The working principle and application of bridge rectifier KBPC5010:


The purpose of bridge rectifier KBPC5010 is to convert alternating current into direct current. What is the working principle of the bridge rectifier in the circuit?


The rectification in the bridge rectifier is a term. It completes its work through the principle of unidirectional conduction of the diode. To put it simply, the diode is unidirectional, which is forward conduction and reverse cutoff. In other words, the diode only allows its positive pole to enter positive electricity and its negative pole to enter negative electricity. The diode only allows current to pass in one direction, so when it is connected to an AC circuit, it can make the current in the circuit flow only in one direction, the so-called "rectification". Among them, two diodes are half-wave bridge rectifiers, and four are full-wave bridge rectifiers.


1. Rectifier circuit: use a bridge rectifier with unidirectional conductivity, which can also be called a bridge rectifier stack. Convert the 50HZ alternating current in the circuit whose direction and size are changed into direct current with the same direction but still pulsating in size.


2. Filter circuit: Utilizing the nature of the energy storage element that the voltage at both ends of the capacitor C cannot change suddenly, connecting the capacitor C in parallel with the load RL of the rectifier circuit can filter out most of the AC components in the output of the rectifier circuit, thereby obtaining a relatively smooth Direct current. In low-power rectifier circuits, capacitor filtering is often used.


3. Power transformer: transform the AC voltage of the grid into an AC voltage that meets the requirements, and the AC voltage can be rectified to obtain the DC voltage required by the electronic equipment.


4. Voltage stabilizer circuit: When the grid voltage or load current changes, the amplitude of the DC voltage output by the filter circuit will also change accordingly. Therefore, the function of the stabilizer circuit is to stabilize the DC voltage after rectification and filtering. In the low-power DC power supply, several common rectifier bridge circuits are single-phase half-wave, full-wave, bridge and three-phase, among which there are both AC and DC.


By using a secondary winding of the transformer and the rectifier bridge, the load of the rectifier circuit can have pulsating DC voltage and current in the same direction within the positive and negative half cycles of the AC power supply.
